After two delays it’s finally here: the BluxBox Christmas Edition 2018! And fair enough, it was worth the wait. Just as the Look Fantastic Christmas Edition, Blux went all out this Christmas and stuffed this box with wonderful goodies. Have a peek and enjoy!
About BluxBox

For those who don’t know BluxBox: this is a Dutch beauty subscription box. For €29,95 you get a box full of beauty stuff every other month. BluxBox mostly sends out full-sized products, and sometimes a travel size package.
Bluxbox sends out a mix of skincare and makeup, en often has other practical things in their boxes, like showergels, body lotions or deodorant. I think this is what makes BluxBox a very nice and practical box to get!
The Christmas Edition
The last beautybox of the year is usually stuffed with beautyful products. Bluxbox also has a ‘Christmas Edition’ as their last box of the year, and there are ELEVEN products in this box. Aside from these products, you will often find a little card with a special offer inside, and of course there is a little booklet with a description of all the products.
BluxBox Contents
Yes! On to the most important part: the contents of the box! Here’s what I found in the BluxBox Christmas Edition 2018:

Aldo Vandini – Joyful Body Lotion: A large tube of body lotion! Yes! Mine has been gone for a while and I do like to have something to use after taking a shower. This one smells great, a bit flowery and fresh. I am taking this straight to the bathroom!

Erborian – Bamboo Shot Mask: A sheet mask by Korean beauty brand Erborian fits the K-beauty trend perfectly. According to the booklet, this sheet mask will hydrate your skin and make it glow. Bring it on!

John Frieda – Root Booster Blow-dry Lotion: I do like John Frieda products, so I am curious about this one! I don’t usually blow-dry my hair, but I am going to try it after showers anyway, just to see what it does without blow-drying your hair.

MDM Flow – Supreme Lipstick: A beautyfully designed lipstick by MDM Flow named ‘Sweet Escape’. This is a nude colour, which reminds me a bit of a camouflage stick…? I wonder how it would look on my lips, but not sure this is my kind of thing.

Mesauda Milano – Waterproof Gold Eye Pencil: An eye pencil by Mesauda Milano in a lovely gold colour. This one will be great for Christmas! According to the booklet it should last for at least six hours and holds against water, sweat and moisture. I can’t wait to try this one!

Olaz Eyes – Eye Serum: Yes, a new eye cream! Ever since I tried one by Ilse Jacobsen, eye creams have a steady spot in my daily routine. The booklet promises visible results in only two weeks, so I am going to take some photos for you guys!

Oriflame – Optimals Hydra Micellair Water: A cleaning product is always good to get! At this moment, I am still using the Nivea from the previous BluxBox, and I still have a micellair water from Goodiebox laying about, so this one will be stocked away for now.

Pretty Woman – Nail Polish ‘No Selfie Control’: A glittery nail polish in a kind of rose gold colour. I love it! This one will be on my nails this Christmas.

Rexona – Stay Fresh Blue Poppy & Apple Anti-Transpirant Spray: Oh, I haven’t gotten a deodorant spray in my box before. Of course I sprayed some on right away and it does smell very nice: a bit sweet but also very fresh. My current deodorant is almost gone, so this one goes straight into the bathroom.

Yves Rocher – Red Apple Hydrating Hand cream: I haven’t had Yves Rocher Products in a long time, so I am curious about this one! This Hand Cream comes in a travel sized tube and is the only product in the box that is not full sized. A quick test reveals a cream that is easy to use and smells a bit sweet.

StyLondon – Eaton Square Eyeshadow Palette: Wow, this is very cool! It’s an eyeshadow palette with nine lovely colours inside! The colours are a bit neutral and rosy, which makes it a good choice for everyone (I think). It also has all kinds of finishes, from matte tints to glittery shimmers. I love it!
Well, that was quite a list of products, but that’s it for this box! I love this month’s contents! So many beautiful products, some with a practical use and others give that extra bit of glamour for the holidays. I’m ready for Christmas!
